Reducing Contributions to Landfill

Our Grand Island beef production facility has led a multi-year effort involving local and state governments and third-party vendors to reduce its contributions to landfills by more than 50 percent. The project involved designing a beneficial reuse method for waste byproduct. The Grand Island team has a goal to reuse 100 percent of the byproducts by 2020.
